The EU specifics

PSD2 and SCA. 3-D Secure on most card payments, exemptions managed by the acquirer, and account-to-account methods that avoid it entirely. The checkout runs the redirect leg and returns the result to your API.
Local methods. iDEAL in the Netherlands, Bancontact in Belgium, Sofort and Klarna in Germany and Austria, Przelewy24 and BLIK in Poland, Multibanco and MB Way in Portugal, Bizum in Spain, EPS in Austria, SEPA Direct Debit for subscriptions. These are why a merchant chooses you, and they can all be presented in the checkout.
Licensing. Payment institutions and e-money institutions under national regulators; agents and distributors beneath them. We are software and stay outside the regulated perimeter.
Currencies. EUR for most, with PLN, SEK, DKK, CZK, HUF and CHF for merchants selling across the region. Presentment and charge in the buyer's currency where your acquiring supports it.
GDPR. Buyer data limited to what the order needs, processed under a data processing agreement.

Frequent questions

Can an EU PSP put iDEAL or Bancontact on a Shopify store?

Yes, through a checkout on the merchant's own domain connected to your API, with orders written back into Shopify. Shopify's own checkout is not changed.

Does the checkout handle SCA?

Yes. 3-D Secure runs as a redirect and the result is returned to your API; account-to-account methods run their own flows.

Which currencies are supported?

Whatever your acquiring can charge in. Presentment follows the buyer's country.

Is there published partner pricing?

No. Terms are agreed in conversation.
