Every payment provider that is not on Shopify's gateway list has the same problem. A merchant you spent months underwriting opens a Shopify store, discovers your gateway is not in the settings, and either churns to Shopify Payments or runs a workaround you cannot support. CascadeCheckout is the connection layer: a checkout on the merchant's own domain that runs your gateway, writes orders back into their store, and gives you a console to onboard the next merchant yourself.
Shopify's checkout only captures cards through providers that have built and certified a Shopify payments app. Certification is slow, discretionary and sized for large providers. WooCommerce is open but leaves each gateway to maintain its own plugin and leaves every store with one processor and no failover. Meanwhile merchants keep choosing those two platforms.
The result: providers with strong acquiring, good local methods or a category appetite mainstream processors lack lose their merchants at the point of platform choice. The partnership exists to remove that point of loss.
We integrate your API once: authorisation, capture, refund, void, 3-D Secure, local methods, notifications. Every merchant you onboard uses that integration.
checkout.merchant-brand.com, branded per merchant, no CascadeCheckout branding on their host. Orders written back into Shopify or WooCommerce with full detail.
A partner console: register a merchant, capture credentials, hand off to your KYC, track whose turn it is, test an order, go live. The onboarding platform.
Captures, refunds and chargebacks pulled from your API by webhook or polling and matched to orders, so the merchant's store and your ledger agree.
Separate credentials, separate domain, separate store record. One merchant's problem does not touch the next.
Where a merchant holds a second processor, your gateway can be the primary route with failover behind it, or the backup that captures what another declines.
Commercial terms are part of the conversation and depend on volume, market and what you want to own. There is no partner price list on this site.
The mechanics are the same everywhere; the payment methods, regulation and merchant categories are not. Region pages: United States · United Kingdom · Canada · European Union · Netherlands.
An arrangement where a gateway or PSP brings its merchants onto a platform that gives them something the gateway cannot deliver alone, here a checkout that runs on Shopify and WooCommerce stores with the gateway behind it.
Commercial terms are discussed in the partner conversation and depend on the arrangement. Nothing about them is published on this site.
Yes. The storefront is unchanged. Only the checkout step moves to a subdomain of the merchant's brand, and orders are written back into Shopify.
Merchants and partners in North America, the UK, the EU and beyond. Local methods and regulation differ, which is why there is a page per region.
We walk through the connection on a call or in writing, sandbox first. Commercial terms are discussed in that conversation, not on a pricing page.

CascadeCheckout is checkout software, not a payment service provider, bank or merchant-account seller. You contract with your own gateway or acquirer, disclose your real business category to them, and receive payouts from them. We never hold funds and we do not promise that any processor will approve you.
